The team that i am in will be holding their team building this Friday.

I thought i would be involved in that event cus i'm only on temp maa..

But i was told tht i can join them hahaaha... for a free dinner and movie.

According to them we might go to either CRC or Shangrila's now called Trader's Hotel (only traders can go *blek*)

What we gonna eat?
shark's fin, big prawns, fresh fish without doubt will be in the menu.
Another important dish is the "Fat Tiu Cheong" (i think they call it Monk Jump over the Wall? in English?) i have no idea laa...
And dessert will be the Suit Kap (yeah again) hahahahahaha

While i was on my way home, i had this sudden crave over fried chicken. So i dropped by KFC @ Tesco thought of rewarding myself some crispy strips. Well they don't sell it anymore to my surprise. So i rewarded myself the Pop Chicken (no corn in it so i refused to call it PopCorn Chicken) instead.

I took a day off yesterday to attend another interview. This time with the monetary policy authority.

I was so dumb to have forgotten that it was a Friday and i did not buy myself a return ticket to the little island i was from and so I GOT MYSELF STRANDED in "Kay Elle"

What happened was after the interview session with the 3 panels, i took another 2 hours completing a test. When i've finally done with that Harrison something something personality test it was already 6.15pm. When i finally reach the Bank Negara stop via KTM it was already 6.30. With the speed that i'm walking like limping takes even more time to move from places. I then try to get tickets to Penang from Plusliner at the Old Train Station. (i don't know if i'm right but tht's what the lady from the Informasi told me so).

Then...what happen was i walked ( or limp?) all the way to Pudu (far right? but do i seem to have any choice?) to get bus tickets.

Same thing i heard the lady said, "Ke Penang dah Penuh hari ini."

Ish!...Without having much choices i bought a ticket for the bus home this morning @ 10AM.

Disturbed my cousin again at her place. I don't have any clothes with me not even a toothbrush or a cleanser. Nothing!

I survived as I was lucky to have my box of clothes at my cousin's. Otherwise i will be like a mad woman wearing the same old shit for 2 days smelling like salted fish? hehehehehe...

As i was on the way home today, i was browsing through The Star and i came across this article. Pressing on how an abandoned project in 1998 called the Bayan Mall Project currently known as Queensbay Mall should be completed ahead of schedule by 6 months in the coming November. It will be the largest mall in Penang. Jusco will still be the anchor tenant for the mall and i was quite shocked to see that TGI Friday's is coming to Penang. Zara too and some others that i obviously don't remember.

Another separate article i read on Thursday was that Hard Rock Cafe is coming to rock Batu Feringghi. How true will the article be? Time should tell us.

I bought a copy of the Cleo magazine and i love the current issue so much! and i shall share with you the content of CLeo in the coming post.

If you can count how many times in just this 5 months after which i came home, How many times did i go all the way to the "city" for interviews?

How many window shopping i did in KLCC, MidValley and 1-Utama? How many buses, LRT and Monorails i took in KL?

That will come to uncountable soon. Why? Because just last week i came back after a long weekend in KL and then happy to say (or should i not?) that im going down to the Central Region again.

But this time it will be a real short one.

Almost every month i will have a moment where i feel restless and i think it happens now. Or why else i'm blogging on all these?

All the flashing backs, the stupidities and sillyness.

officially graduated, employed but actively looking for a job

Just 2 days ago i've got an offer for an interview in KL next Thursday. This is what i've been waiting; waiting to be shortlisted. And finally here it comes and there are in total 34 candidates for that particular program. If i manage to get that position i will most probably ended up in KL city. Which also means i'm moving down.

This trip to KL will be a long one that stretches from Thursday to Sunday. Needed to go to 1-Utama for some shop shop. :P Now praying hard that my ankle should heal by then. Another headache thing is applying for leave (Yes again!)

Last few days at work was as usual. One abnormality is that i've been thinking much, much on nostalgias. Flashing backs...bringing out all the memories i had in my previous life chapter that officially ended last Sunday 11th June (a date that is easily remembered)

What did i do for the past few days from 31st to 11th June in Sydney. Needless to say it does mean a lot and it should be recorded down. but not here...

Back to the year 2001. graduated from high school with such a decent and innocent mind.During that time i thought the transition period was hard. Thinking of what to do. Of course Form 6 is an Absolute NO NO! Whether to go to KL or stay in Penang? If in Penang where? INTI, KDU, Disted or TARC? (back then it was one of the most popular colleges in Penang)
















2002. Completed the NSW HSC in Inti Int'l College Penang. Another transition period which wasn't quite hard to go through.














2003.Enrolled myself in The USyd Commerce Program for 2 semesters. The hardest time is right after the 2 semesters. Thinking of where to go. UQ? USyd? UAdelaide? or ANU? Wanted to get into ANU badly but they offered me a place for 3 yrs. Well well coming to USyd is what i always wanted to; so in the end i went to USyd.(that so far i have not regretted going as it marks one of the best chapter in my life)

















2004 - 2005. Needless to say what had happened because it is so meaningful that it's undescribeable by words

2006. One of the WORST Transition period. That's where my career starts. Struggling now towards the job that i've been looking for. Also to the other 3 guys in the 7 who will or has started their career, Do make sure to chase after what u want to do and Best of Everything.






















2007 and beyond. I think i will still be working hard like a mad woman. We shall see how it goes. I may look like this

another 6 months i go

I have just receive a confirmation of my contract renewal with Dell. And i will be on contract with them for another 6 months.

Benefits outweighs the cost of it. Cus other than staying employed i can seek for a new job. Although it seems quite blurry from now on which direction i wish to follow i have faith upon the job that i wish to opt for.

I'm aware how life can be difficult during this transition period but i think it's worth the wait. Because i know bearing a fruit needs effort.

And so im gonna be sticking with the word Dell for as long as until end of this year.Which means i will be in Penang until end of the year as for now unless i've got a job offer and supposed to go somewhere don't know what.

And at the same time actively seeking for a job. Any opportunities in the areas of Banking and Finance please let me know peeps.

Since i will be here. eh those there let's plan a trip somewhere end of the year laaa. I will be here. Right here waiting...

Back to serious stuff now

I woke up with my ankle a little swollen this morning. I think the reason was that i wore a sports shoes for the whole day (i should have put on the brace)

BUT If i dun wear a sports shoes how am i gonna drive???

A friend offered to drive me to work and Today i put on the braces and i'm sitting on this blue chair in front of this laptop blogging AGAIN.

Thought of going to the physiotherapist soon to see the condition of my ankle and also to get some MCs so that i can rest at home. At the same time feeling bad for taking MCs but i can't help it.

What happened on the night i arrived?
Parents has a great shock looking at my ankle.

Then..
Started unpacking. That made me realise how little stuff i have and how much food i brought home.

Then..
Decided not to work on Monday which is yesterday. Rested at home the whole day. Sleeping time scares everyone away. Woke up at 9am. Slept at 12pm to 4pm. Then slept at 12 am after the dinner. Elder sister ordered Fried Crab tht i'm quite sick of eating already during dinner.

Now..
Sitting in front of this lappie blogging away after i drove to work this morning that safely reaches Dell Asia Pac. Finished doing a few pricing files and now feeling a little restless because god knows how many times i yawned. I took 15 mins to walk from the parking lot to my office which normally can be reached in 5 mins time. And im back to work...work and work...

That's my life and how it's gonna be from now on. Just work work and work. I really miss those times i had in Uni and of course particularly the 10days in Sydney although i had a fractured ankle. I so wish that time can just stop there but it doesnt seems will do. Well as time passes by im sure we will meet each other again. Looking forward for tht time.

At the moment hoping to lodge an insurance claim to get back my AUD 300 spent on my fractured ankle. Wish me luck and also Hope to recover soon...

whatever that has its beginning for sure will come to an end. And if u ponder on that same thing over and over again u will never move on.

Sometimes i wonder if i did move on? or have i been in tht particular time frame that i didnt move on at all. some odour reminds u of someone or something and some songs reminds u of someone or something or some time too.

I was overly obsessed with this song for such a long time tht i think if it is to be played here it feels utterly different.

Am i insane?

Well things was going allright except the fact that i had to wear tht brace for 5 weeks and i doubt i could drive to work.

I've learned that what i say has got its effects on someone i know. What i think is that if u want to find out something come straight to me and stop guessing. Taking up freaking 3 months to go through isnt worth it my dear. And now tht knowing the truth u will realised that u have wasted 3 months on this Shit i said which isnt all about you at all.

and i realised how "O-U-T" i am. I did not realise there's an A&W outlet on Gurney Walk nor there is a traffic light stop on one of the main streets in Island Glades that connects to Yeap Chor Yee road.

yet so what? why making such a big fuss on that?

a friend gave me a L-O-U-D "AIYOH" last night.

well i think if i do not have anything to do or buy why bother go to one of the hottest place on the earth of Penang called Gurney Plaza where the traffic jams almost happen for 24/7. Last night i was caught in a massive jam for half an hour and another 15mins just to get a parking place in Gurney. and what is worst is that i drove 2 rounds passed kelawai road then to gurney drive just to get into the multi storey car park in Gurney Plaza. Realising the stupidness of driving for the 3rd round i could not bother more thus parked my car on the space next to gurney plaza which is also managed by Gurney Plaza management only that it's an open air car park. Luckily it was at night or else you will get to eat Roasted Bling

so i strongly reckon all the ppl here dun ever go to GP during peak period. Sien looking at the jam on the roads! Penang's getting excessively jam. My friend who went to KL to work for only 3 months had a huge shock last night. She said what's goin on with Penang lately? So much cars huh?

Let me tell u a fact. Car plate number registration is running as fast as the thunder and lightning could go. My Kelisa was registered 2 months ago and it is called PGT **18. Today it's PGV. What i wanna stress is that a letter runs for a month only.

Freaking 1 month OK?

That actually tells u why i dun like going down to the city of Penang during weekends cus the traffic can never be smooth. So how else i know when and where we have new openings of food outlets or boutiques? On top of that i have absolutely nothing to shop.

Innocent i should say as i was trying to look for the envelop for some documents in one of the cabinets the metalic spray bottle fell and dropped on my left foot this afternoon.

Right away blue black could be seen. And it is still very painful now! A simple touch could release the pain.

2 attempts using Mozilla Firefox = Failed

First attempt with Internet Explorer = Passed Through

After i manage to log into my Personal Page on Friendster i was impressed! Impressed again by how much they changed the layout of it. But to no avail, all my attempts to "kaypo" like it be viewing pictures or checking who has viewed me all failed to load.

And this is not the first time friendster had changed their layout and then causes it taking ages to load. and currently while i'm blogging, the page that i click on to view pictures is still loading and it will take forever to load. ISH!

so i wasnt that impressed afterall.

i learnt a new phrase yesterday. I will share it with you guys when i see you next week.

Anyway...
Time's running out. A few days is left at work. Yay! I'm really tired of working now. this month especially i've worked 22 hours of OT.

imagine coming home everyday at 7. I could not imagine later on if i were to get a job that requires me to work till 10 or 12. I would be in deep shit. It's really damn tiring. Ytd was the worst day. Felt hungry at 9.30am which led to me having my lunch at 11.

And then while working on what am i supposed to do i felt very much pain on my head. Had a very bad headache. To make things more difficult is that my eyes were in pain too. Shall it be a symptom of anything? It started 3 days before. or might it be What i need is just sleep?

And i didnt had enough sleep last night. Slept quite late, woke up at 7.30 am.
My time is all screwed up. and i think it's gonna be even more screwed up this wednesday night.

and hopefully i wont look like a panda on the 2nd when im supposed to snap pics of my graduation. One of the most important day of my life. Oh please dont make me look like a panda.

The PC set now sits well in the living room after i kick it out from my super small room.

Talking about PCs,I bought this system about 2months ago and right after a month of usage not that i wanna say anything. My Creative speaker produces noises which is a sign that it actually is a faulty product. Well it actually develop a kind of feeling in me that this brand isnt that good after all. The next time im gonna buy a speaker it wouldnt be Creative anymore i should say. This happens to a lot of people who make purchases who i should say customer experience and confidence. I seriously lack of these on Creative now.

The speaker was sent in for warranty servicing for how long u guess?

1 month! Freaking long 1 month! and then they could not repair it that they replace the speaker. huh?

Anyway i only wish to express my frustration over the purchases i made.

And today what i did was digging out the medium sized luggage bag and cleaned it. Now finding a way to pack the things in that small luggage bag.

Come to think about it...i think i'm not bringing much food. What i have is only Heong Pneah, Rojak Paste, Agar-agar, Ms Low's special request mushroom soup and Curry Chicken Paste and it's already H-E-A-V-Y.

Yet to buy is Tau Sar Pneah, Phong Pneah and "Shanghai Chai".

Not much though. haihs....i have no idea what is there to buy to bring over. I think i better figure out how to pack my things first before anything.

on OT for the past few days for 2 weeks

havent been blogging for a week.
the story wil begin this way

Last week was a real busy week. I was busier than a bee is. And no doubt this week isnt relaxing afterall.

Went for a BBQ party organised by a colleague who stays in Tg Bungah last Friday. Will show u the pics we took if my colleague do send it to me.

And then back to work after the long weekend with loads of work to do. Almost everyday other day if the clock never hit 7 you wont see me packing up heading towards home sweet home.

But today with my auntie coming to pay me a visit, i left earlier leaving behind 6 price books that i have yet to finish. It seems that i have to finish it tomorrow no matter what because if i dont i will fall behind as we are required to attend a meeting on Friday at Northam Tower as it is the kick-off for our dept.

And so i was supposed to attend a dinner tomorrow at 68 Kelawai with my colleagues due to their Quarter 2 calendar kick-off which i now not sure if i have to go.

Well if im not going means i'm not gonna see the"big" ppl of Dell for the dept that im working for and also the nice food! *drools*

And even if i dont go i can have my own sweet time w/o needing to eat and talk in front of strangers. That's just not being myself to keep my mouth shut. As it is an awkward and strange situation to be quiet because out of 10 sentence they say i think i only do understand 1 sentence. (not the least though kekeke...sometimes i dont catch anything!)

Anyways...we shall see how.

Before anything, my manager approved my leaves! yay! yay!!!


2 weeks more to catch the flight to fly all the food and dramas to Sydney and of course myself :P

I have not finished shopping for food. Like i have to get Him Heang Tau Sar Pneah and Phong Pneah as well as Curry Chicken Paste and Shanghai Pickled Vegetables.

The rest that i need are all sitting in my luggage bag.

What more to do now? Wait for time to pass lah! and also expect more work like Price books to do in the coming 1 and a half week before i fly as free as flocks of flying birds and leave the word that starts with D for a while. (if only i can fly forever in the skies with no worries) haihss...

One thing im considering now.
To climb or not to climb? To Melbourne or not to? or to Jervis Bay?

Just got back from the Steamboat Dinner. Had a great night eating, laughing and of course 8-ting!
Who was there? 7 of us from the same school and the rest 3 are their post high school friends. And i saw this guy called F who is a friend of my high school mate that i think is quite good looking. kekekeke *blink*. Unfortunately we did not snap any pictures.

It doesnt matter anyway.

Coming to date i realise one thing which i think i told a friend before, i found guys who wear glasses better looking. Why? Cus they look smarter and of course there are exceptional case as it depends on what type of glasses u wear. :p

And this is what i kept forgetting. I see this guy in particular without fail almost every other day at work. He reminds me of a friend who i havent see for some time cus they look so so similar. The difference is that he is shorter than my friend is. We are not from the same dept though. But i see him almost every other day. haihss..if only he is the friend i know. But it's impossible cus he wont end up working in Dell.

Just had lunch and it started to pour 10mins ago. Today is definitely my day. Just had a look at my dashboard and i realised the last time i ever scolded someone was on the 25th Jan (on my blog of course)

And today i felt so so irritated that i wanna scold that irritater again! But i wont let it spoil my wonderful rainy day. No matter what i still had a wonderful night last night with the jokes cracked by a friend. Let today be a good day to be remembered.

Besides, i have a Steamboat dinner with my School Mates.

and the scoldings shall be postponed to a later date. To those who wish to know who is the lucky irritater STAY TUNED

Worked 5 days a week. Total disposable income per week = (56.66 * 5) * 0.89

equals to

Weekly Profit/Loss Statement = MYR 34.14 (which is my lunch for 5 days)

Oh no...i think i overspent for the week. but i havent finished buying

Need a pair of Sandal and Loafers. Purchases has to be postponed to a week before departure to Sydney.
