Chiang Rai - Day 2

Our location on the second day was = I don't know. The only thing i knew was we were heading towards Chiang Rai. While we were on the way we visited a few temples and the story flows below.

Pork Knuckles Rice for Breakfast

and Pork Ribs Rice Noodles Soup

Time for another temple

I was amazed and at the same time shocked when i saw them worshipping the Buddha with a Pig's head. Do you see it?

We went up to this temple which was located on top of the hill.

From there look at how does the country of Thailand looks like. I felt so relaxed and green then. Fresh air too unlike those we find it here locally. It looks a bit like the Jelapang Padi in Kedah...hahaha.

We had lunch on the hill in this hut.

These was what we had. Do you see the shit lookalike thing on the bottom right corner? Apparently it's pig's intestines stuffed with pork.

From where we sat while satisfying ourself with food we had this in the background. If only the weather was cool then it would be a great lunch :)

Another temple which i don't know what it calls

The gigantic Sleeping Buddha I've ever seen.

We finally reached Chiang Rai at around 5PM in the evening. We stayed in one of the hotel called Sabai Inn. They offer free internet access tooo...
We then had dinner at one of the best local restaurant that served the best Fried Egg with Radish.

This is the Chiang Rai night Market. Everything is darn cheap. A pair of earring for THB10 and 2 T-shirts for THB99. Amazingly cheap!!

The dog who has purple fur..The owner actually dye them and apparently she (i presume) was so used(maybe bored) to camera flashes that the she sometimes don't feel like posing for a picture. Lansi isn't it?

Tower Glass for Chang Beer. FYI, local Thai beer is called Chang.

Bangkok - Day 1

Day 1
Survanabhumi Airport Bangkok

Interesting...

Not very clear..i was standing too far... let you make the guess

This is the exterior of the airport. Apparently its a low cost airport and tht's why its not painted.

This is the tastiest Fried Chicken on Earth!!!

Roots rooting (ted?) outside the temple.

It's very creative of them by folding these joss papers into this mini tower

This is a famous buddhist temple.

Very nice architecture isnt it? and very goldly

The sun almost sets when we were there.

I didn't climbed up the steep stairs, we used the backdoor

while we were on the way to dinner...amazing thai's sitting on the bike WITHOUT helmets you see. 3 of them!!

We reached the hotel which i duno what name it was and which location it was cus we reached at 11PM. I was too sleepy to bother even. A decent room with TV and fridge costs THB350 per room. Cheap isn't it?

Updates to the rest of my vacation: Day 2 to Day 8 will follow suit soon...
