Penang's getting more and more ppl. At least i wont be so bored staying in at home w/o much to do.

Anyway....it's been a few days after my last blog.
Was kinda busy these days because of the Imago.
Went to the JPJ to deal with some documentation and then did some shopping for it.

I came to realise how bored it is to drive an automatic car. or should i say to drive even.
mayb due to driving alone and nobody to talk to except for the companion of hitz and fly FM.
or might it because of stopped driving for 2 yrs?

On Monday i have just committed myself to another debt.
My monthly installment now is $500 + $ 462.33
That takes up more than half of my PAY.
Life's hard isnt it?

Anyway...as u may realised i am actually blogging from my workplace. Done with my work and i have a little bit more to go later before i set myself to go home.

After working for 2 and 1/2 weeks here in Dell i realise something funny.

The lady who sits beside me can be quite entertaining when u hear her laughing or talking. :D. Well from the way i see her act and speaks on the phone, i think she's still single. She has a great sense of humour.

I think when i feel sleepy i should eavesdrop a bit. :P

Then those ladies in the cubicles next to mine row are a few (2 only actually) who are in their early 30s and i think 3 more who are married. 1 who is my manager's manager and another one who always calls up her maid to tell her how to cook and what to do b4 she got home and another who sits quite far from me tht i seldom hear her talking.

One of them who is still single ( i dun mean to eavesdrop but she speaks so loudly) She was on the phone and she said "I wont get married so early"

The other one who i think is single ( hope i'm not wrong) came to my cube and treat me a Walnut Tart for tea. Well it's quite nice. Don't wanna complain.

Hahahah...i was like eh u are quite old liau better get married!

2 of my colleagues went for a Treasure Hunt for Team Building. And one of them from the team(there were 42 cars out for the hunt OK?) called the lady sitting beside me to get answers for the clues. She was like helping them by giving them asnwers and then before they hung up she said "ehh! No cheating"

@.@ What's the point? hahahaha

Well tomorrow i'm gonna be on leave. Not because of the stress at work. I wont be so stupid to waste my LEAVE. Now im left with only 0.5days leave. :( Hmm.....i think when i wanna take leaves for Sydney i have to get unpaid leave. Aiyoyo...and after thinking about what my dad said. If he really wanna me to go alone i think i would stay in Sydney longer. At least a week. Any suggestions?

Have u ever feel like u need someone to talk to and yet you don't know who to turn to?

Well i had the experience almost every other day lately.
I feel myself so heavy on my shoulder. For now i don't know how and what my journey should be.
To be honest although i like my hometown so much, whenever i'm here i never feel happy.
can anyone give me an explanation PLEASE....

I really want to leave badly. I'm looking forward for my Graduation (also something that im not really sure of going now after what my dad said to me) and most importantly after my contract with Dell ends on the 7th July!

Where can i go? Anybody could give me any suggestions?

She got it right! I can be someone good to talk to (if by chance) anyone out there who are feeling down but when it comes to myself i just feel restless. I wish i dun have to deal with all this shit.

And then all of a sudden the talk came to a FULL STOP when things comes to be apart.

You stopped calling each other. (reasons like not free? or what ever reasons tht we can find on earth)

You don't miss each other at all?

And i'm pretty sure Thoughts will develop.

Why the hell are we so close before?
Do we have feelings for each other ? Even a little bit? (as a consolation possibly)
Why are we not so close as before?
Why are we not talking on the phone so often?
Are we losing something in common?

The answer remains to be explored in a great detail.

Come hell or high water, whether u like it or not, if u choose not to ask why the reasons behind it remained unknown. If u choose to ask at least u know what's going on and u could patch things up.

To me life evolves in contradicting issue to be dealt with. You point your fingers on someone who contradicts themselves and what about you? Have u ever wonder if u made contradictions yourself.

staring at computers from 8.30 to 6pm 5 days a week is sooon gonna led me to have on top of my one little pair of eye to 2 pairs. not forgetting after i got home i went straight to msn again. so let u count how many hours of exposures to PC's. and right now im staring at the screen too. so it's not really 5 days a week afterall.

it feels so frustrating to be in 2 places. but what is there tht i can do. my friend is not free to go out pulak. should i go out alone? whereabouts? to gurney again.

i just remembered I have an ALUMNI meeting to attend this evening. WL called the other day and asked me to go. Should i or should i not go?

But what is there to do? Meeting up with high school mates, seniors and juniors? or at most "lau yees"

i just got home an hour ago.

so much to do. so much tht i do not know how to do tht i stayed for an additional 5 hours.

and currently im having a headache.

im lucky because it's friday.

On a random note: i really got pissed off over something!looking at it also makes me feel annoyed. Come to talk about it i would just FORGET IT! STUPID!

Dad suggested me to go over to elder sister's to try out her automatic Kelisa cus he said "It's better to go practice driving"

Okla okla..i go drive for fun la...it's auto nia ma. It should be freaking easy my god. Scheduled for this Friday.

and on top of tht nephews called to ask on how to install their PC game. Tht implies tht no matter what i still have to go cus i need to install the game for them.

and tomorrow im back to work liau......please anybody who is in M'sia or nearby S'pore feel free to come and visit me. I'm half dead dee.

Bored to death at times. I spend about an hour yesterday and today doing nothing. And so i went to explore Dell's database. Whoa....looking at the sizes of their share drives makes me drool (*drools*) TOTAL SIZE 819GB If only i have these, i can save whatever drama without even have to delete it or even rush to finish watching it.

Did quite a number of files today just b4 lunch but right after lunch its just BORED. Yesterday was the other way round. Didn't get much to do in the morn but was fully occupied in the afternoon.

NEW CAR. The reason behind it. I longed to get MyVi. Unfortunately i have to wait 3 mths. So i have a friend's father who sells cars managed to find me one (tht i can get my hands on it after the procedures) without hassles but paying an extra MYR3K + 10% of the OTR price (downpayment) + 108 installments.

Then elder sister called to advice me to get a second hand car instead. So i agreed because i think if i wanna get a new car i might as well get the one I really want.
So the 2nd hand plan went on.

Dad said he will go and have a look at the 2nd hand prices for Kelisa(EZi) today.

Just when i came back dad told me the prices of a 2nd hand car.
Kelisa priced at MYR33000 produce in yr 2004 can be paid in 7 years.
Monthly payment would be MYR500plus.

What's worst is that if i get a new car.
The installment period is 9 years paying MYR500 plus a month

The verdict? A NEW CAR LAH!
BUT KELISA?? :(
WHAT TO DO! THAT STUPID MYVI is just taking so much time and an extra MYR3K tht i can buy a flight ticket to SYDNEY!

That's the story! So i shall say i followed my dad.. went merry go around the car market from new to old then to old and now back to NEW.
i dun care liau laa....sick with this CAR STORY!

If only the transportation is good then most of us wont have such problem! Who is there for us to blame?

Welcome Luncheon

The team tht i joined in Dell went for lunch at at Restaurant called Goh Teo Kee (apparently there are a lot of branches all over Penang) in Sg Nibong.

There were a total of 11 of us plus 3 managers or actually 4. Not sure of how many actually.
What i know is that im the FRESHESH in the team and the NEWEST and BLUREST.

Anyway...i had a very "fung foo" lunch. The manager is super rich i think. The one who pay was Irene a manager of my manager.

What we had?

1st day at work

Went to work ytd, of course wearing kinda smart. A 3 qtr shirt plus a black slack.

Reached Dell employee's entrance at 8.15am

Manager's not around and i do not know where my dept is.

So i sat on one of the chairs outside the clinic and waited for the manager.

After a few mins, saw SH's sister who also works in Dell. She asked if i want her to bring me upstairs. Of course laa...otherwise i look like an idiot with the Dell Orange Sticker (i have two now, gonna be having a collection until i got my badge)

hmm...then i reached the dept with 2 ladies ( who are my colleagues now) discussing something that i think i dun understand. Then i was told that the manager was caught in the traffic (and may i warn u from my experiene this morning, traffic starts to be congested from Bayan Bay up till the 4th Phase of the F.I.Z)

So i sat there waiting waiting to know what to do. Spend the morning looking at how to do things like a price book.( i dont know how to explain)

Then went to the toilet and bump into my high sch friend SM who now works in the Sales Dept. Then during lunch bumped into another girl called LJ. Then went to the Bakery and bump into another girl who i dun rmb what her name was. Then saw a few other ppl who was from Inti College.

So now u know HOW SMALL DELL IS or actually HOW SMALL CAN PENANG BE!

The conclusion from the 1st day of work is SIEN and SLEEPY ( due to the lack of sleep from the trip)

2nd day at work

Went out a little late this morn because i OVERSLEPT. I can't help it laahh. Supposed to wake up at 7 , oh well ended sleeping for another 20mins.

And like i told u the jam starts from Bayan Bay (unlike ytd only after Crystal Point)

The best time i think to go out is 7.45am. I can still afford to be late now cus i have my scooter to slip in every corner of the road. Later on im gonna join the queue.

Today is slightly more interesting cus i have at least a little bit more things to do.

I'm going to get my badge done tomorrow.
Also my manager ordered a lappie for me. ( she said PC, i hope it's a lappie)
Going to get an email address created.
Also i need to learn how to use Microsoft Outlook
err let me think i think ....tht's all kua

The discussion about getting a four wheel instead of the current 2 wheels that i can only let it speed up till 60km/hr (not more than tht) went a little confused

A second hand? or A new Car?

A second hand Kelisa? or A new MyVi? or the oversupplied cars selling at discount prices?

MyVi is not cheap eh. And according to my dad i have to wait for 3 mths to get my hands on the car. Chisin...by the time my contract's gonna end laa. What is more ridiculous is tht 3 mths is only when u know people otherwise wait 1 YEAR!

The oversupplied of Kancils and Proton Saga now offers at a discount (minus MYR 2000) and u can get ur hands on it very soon. No wait. No hassles.

Aiyoh.........now i know why on average 400 new cars went registered in Penang. 400 a day OK?

1 mth = 12000!!!???
1 year = 145600!!!!

Rmb it's Penang only. What about countrywide?

I think i will most probably just get a second hand car.....looking at my current condition. Money no enough. Saving money to Sydney leh?

Ohh there's another thing tht i wanna highlight.

The caterer in Dell is serving good food economically.
My lunch costs me MYR 2 only yesterday
Today's was slightly more expensive @ MYR3.60 cus i ordered a drink plus a few fish balls.
Aiyooo....freaking cheap.

On top of tht cheap meal, their own employees ( permanent ones) get another 5 to 10 percent discount on their food.

whoa ....MYR2 => MYR 1.80

Cheap rite? I think can tapau for dinner for those who' doesn't cook dinner.

11.00pm Back to the Dodgy hotel.

1.00 am Sleeping tight

Day 2 ( Sunday 5th)

7.00 pm Due the the uncomfy bed I had a back pain. So decided to read the CLEO magazine which i got it free from the Career Fair

9.30 pm Went poo poo twice and after changing, head towards Chinatown. Ate the SGD 1 ice cream with wafle.

11.45 pm Left Chinatown for Buona Vista. Went to the place that i always wanted to go. Holland Village. Had Ipoh Hor Fun for lunch. Then to Clementi and then to Jurong East

4.00pm Took a free shuttle bus to IMM and it was raining heavily. Ate Longan Almond Jelly that i think it's for our tea time.

5.30 pm @ Mount Fable. (Eh peeps the next time we are in Singapore, let's go to Mount Fable together and have a cup of tea heh? overlooking the Sentosa island and cable cars) To the ladies out there please go to the toilet in Mt Fable and u will know how to control yourself. (pics coming soon)

6.30 pm Italian Dinner @ La Basirie ( if i'm not wrong) at Greenleaf Road at some "fut lou" places near 6th Avenue

8.00 pm @ City Hall and met up with Matt. Went around the Esplanade and Merlion Park to take some pics and waste some time talking.

10.00 pm On board and depart for Penang.

11.00 pm Reached the Customs and Clearing at the Second Link Tuas

Day 3 ( Monday 6th)

5.30 am Reached Juru Interchange

6.35 am Reached the Bus Teminal

7.45 am Home Sweet Home

The Interview this morning

Last night i went to in to F.I.Z Area trying to look for Dell after my interview in Agilent and i got LOST

And i pusing balik. If only we have this option in Life huh?

Okie...so i reached Dell and register to go into the building.

Haha .....i think for most of u wouldn't imagine how big Dell is or actually how much employees they have. Ridiculous man...

Imagine a hall like the Great Hall or High school hall where we have our final exams and all and there are sections and depts in within that hall itself. And please be aware that not only there are 1 hall but there are so so many halls. Fuiyoh...scary lorr.My gosh!

The lady who interviewd me was so nice. The only few questions that she asked is Do you know to use Excel? This job requires you to work extended hours, do you feel comfortable with it?

That's all.....Hmm....lesser that what i expected. Thought i would be bombarded with funny and hard questions.

And she made a comment " You are REALLY REALLY FRESH"

Huh? Cus i told her i just got back from Sydney a month ago.

"Freshly baked from the Sydney Uni OVEN!" LOL

I just got back from Prangin Mall. Rmb i told you about elder sis is geting a PC for her sons. yeh...done that and went for lunch at McNair St.

Today im kinda busy cus after the movie i'm going to Bayan Lepas where the free industrial zones are for an interview. So wish me luck yeh!

Tomorrow i will have to acompany my sister to Prangin Mall as she's planning to get a desktop for her sons. Hope to get a good bargain. And then i think i shall start packing for the trip tomorrow when i got back from the desktop price surveying.

Oh well...i hope i will have a wonderful time in S'pore. and i have to go now cus i need to get ready ...

3rd destination

Late afternoon yesterday i received a call from Jobstreet regarding the current vacancies in Dell Bayan Lepas and soon i hope im going for an interview.

At least now i think i should grab a temporary job while i look for the one i want. Well what ever it is im putting those in Penang aside until i came back from Singapore.

I got a little emo-ed recently i think. Been having too much thoughts.

Well here we are in the month of MARCH but i don't feel any much different. The long awaiting month of the year.

It's MARCH! and i'm still unemployed and as BROKE. Had the same thoughts still.
Sometimes i wonder if i make the decision to do something not just in the best interest of myself but something that may turn silly when 3 years down the road when i look back i think it is.

Even if i did make it are there any difference? Life, this is Life my gosh!

I'm so so LOST and CONFUSED. I hope to obtain an ANSWER soon..

about the topic of the post.

I went to watch the Sneak Preview of FINAL DESTINATION 3 with a friend who got 2 free tickets from the local newspaper press.

It is good and highly recommended. Go watch it. It opens for viewing tomorrow....
