today is definitely not my type of day

bumped into some stupid moron in the morning.

in the afternoon i bumped into another..

is today the moron's day or what?

my mom called and said that father can come home already...just FYI that my dad fractured his bone(s) and he was admitted to the hospital for x-ray and observation.

so his daughter here refered to "bling" has to go pick him up from the LohGuanLye Specialist Centre on Logan Road.

you know when it's accident you have a lot of claim forms to get the doctor to be filled up. so i went to the nurse station to ask where should i go. Nurses look helpful but their face was so darn black. Like i owe them salary. NEVERMIND!

then i went down to the clinic and look for Room 7 where the doctor's room is. unfortunately the Doctor was not around. So when i was about to reach the doctor's room the second time i saw one of the staff opening the door of Room 7 and so i said can i ask the doctor to help me to fill this form? then the lady didn't give me a reply and turned her head to the nurse who was sitting inside the room.

nurse: u must leave this form here. when its done i will call you. can i have your mobile phone

me: zero-one, erm when can this be done? cus the patient has been discharged and we are going back now.

nurse: not so soon because there are a lot of insurance forms and i think this form is the kind where we must fill in whenever there are visits.

me: but this is for PA u know

nurse: i know. (with her face facing downwards)

me: this is for those claim for ppl who are unable to work for income

nurse: i know. (with her face facing downwards) but we need 1 to 2 weeks. what's your contact number

me: this is only to filled this particular one piece of form need 2 weeks????

nurse: yes. (looking at the paper) so this is your father's contact number. we will call you

DAMN F**KING RUDE!! and this asshole stupid f**king bitch!!
during the whole conversation she was looking at the table and paper.

i was standing next to you and i wasn't on the table. Can you please show some respect?????
CAN YOU PLEASE LOOK AT ME?

DUMB-ass!!!!

this hospital is definitely blacklisted by me at least by the Lim Family!!!!

Reasons to blacklist?
  • unfriendly staff/nurse (they sell black face)
  • in-house cafeteria serving kopitiam food like mee goreng and teh-o ais charges SERVICE TAX!!!! What the hell??
  • the consultation fee was RM120 (that was because it was off consultation hours -FINE!). Then the cashier said it is a direction from the top that we charge MYR150. So altogether MYR450 inclusive of deposits. From MYR120 to MYR150???? what rounding up mechanims is this??? Never learn this before in Math or even in uni of NPV. So they gobble MYR30 effortlessly.

enough reasons??????

Nowadays hospitals don't help patients with their profession but for money. At least they gave me that feeling. And i don't mean all hospitals are the same. At least i didn't feel this way when i was in Adventist Hospital.

Judge it yourself if you don't believe me and of course *touch wood*. Nobody wants to go there.

morons on the road

a moron started my usual monday morning with a rage......

stupid bitch make sure you get urself messed up one day on the road!!!!!!!

this stupid bitch honked from 2 cars behind me and keep flashing her headlights for god knows why she was doing that. if you want to f**king overtake me just do it and there is ample space for you to do it and i wasnt blocking the road because i was already speeding. well maybe you want to announce to the world that you are driving a damn f**king new car but what is it? Proton Saga 1.3 my ass. No wonder you can't seem to overtake me. go to hell and i wasnt the one with no brain it was you who is brainless!! honked like there's no tomorrow and everyone else on the road thinks u are insane and not me!!!

you idiot indian lady!!! go get yourself messed up with your new small cheap (cheaper than mine anyway) car Proton Saga. You are blacklisted!!!

PHQ9495!!!
giving you another clue. It's silver

all drivers in Penang please watch out for this insane cum mad indian lady driver. Stay away from her and if she does the same thing to you get her messed up!.

Chiang Rai - Mae Sai Day 3

It was 6.30AM in Chiang Rai. Outside the hotel. Sun is yet to shine and the moon is yet to set.

Winding road up the hill but towards which direction?

We finally reached after the long and winding road. See...Flags for sale.

There's a fee to visit all the 3 places firstly the villa, secondly the garden and lastly the memorial hall

I think it costs use around THB 200

This is IT!! we explore first the Doi Tung villa. The King of Thailand's mother's Villa.
Entrance to the Doi Tung villa reads this.....

My mum was smart enough to wear a skirt on that day so she ended up looking like this hehehehe. Stylo isn't it?

The Mae Fah Luong Garden. Look at the grass. Looks gross to me actually...

Nicely done with bamboo sticks

and the sun was this high and it was freaking hotz!!

The "monkey cup". If you need to clear flies out of your way get this plant. They help u lots.

this is interesting and amazingly done.

A special species of flower..They did not specify the name of the flower so i can't help it.

i was impressed by this....the flower face downside if you look at it properly and it does look a bit like morning glory except where it was facing and it was white.

The garden with the memorial statue in the middle

a little hut for you to catch a deep breath after the long walk and sweat..

believe in your eyes..nobody spray it white

the flower facing sideways and probably that was were the sun rises.

the discovery has come to an end and this garden is the final one to the Mae Fah Luong. most importantly this is the spot where you can see from the Doi Tung villa.

they offer drinking water in the garden...and it's icy ice coldddd..... didn't dare to drink so i used them to wash my hands. :D. i agree that defeats the purpose but please think of this out of the 100 ppl who actually drinks them?

We then head for lunch in Mae Sai. A little shop near the river which mark the boundary to Cambodia. That's Combodia.

Combadian flag on the left side and Thai on the left.

This is the side of Thailand in Mae-Sai. There is a lot of things for you to buy here in Mae Sai. all affordable.

We rented a place in one of the chalet type lodging in Chiang Rai and it's on top of a hill :S We went through the long winding road, passes through the paddy fields

Dragon fruit orchard

and more paddy fields

and when we finally reach, a 4WD was waiting to transport us up the hill already

This is the little hut that we stayed in on that night.

another type of chalet for 2.

The dining table. open air.

Hangers made from bamboo. creative but not practical. not strong enough to hang my towel even.

owing you owing me

i realise ever since i started to blog about the food i ate, or the places i've been to, i actually had neglected to blog about the personal piece of myself which originally it was meant to be.

anyway..i've been in hibernation mode recently and i still dont find the reason why. Strange aye? i'm very sure i'm still owing not you but myself the post of my vacation in Bangkok a month ago.

last week I went for dinner at this place called Bukit Genting which is located on the stretch of the road from Teluk Kumbar heading to Balik Pulau. Food is nothing extraordinary. Most of the value goes to the scenic environment. A great place for sunset and sunrise but food wise not recommended. It's Pork Free too...(picture should flow after i completed the Bangkok Piece)

do you find the media nowadays have nothing great to talk about but they repeat themselves. Things like...

  • I'm not stepping down

sounds familiar to you? Bet it is because ever since 0803 that was the one and only controversial hawt juicy issue that everyone has been occupying themselves with.

I also came about this article this morning about the increasing stds of living. An auntie made a comment that she heard rising prices of food and neccessities but her husband's pension never increase. Well that shows that the quality of life actually deteriorates.

But that doesn't mean that when we get pay increments we are better off. Because the pay increment is meant to cover for inflation. We are no better or worst off. Quality of life stay the same? Hell no...Because when we earn more we tend to spend more and that's the issue of human being not able to succumb to temptations. Well that then is our fault.

Hahaha...it sounds like i'm giving a lecture on Economics. Rmb im going to move in to Market research and hey i can't wait for the next phase in my career. But i have a month and a half to kill in "the great place to work" before moving down central of the peninsula.

Haven't found a place to move in. Haven't figure out what to move and how to move them.

What's important now? Bye Bye....time out and i'm heading to gym now.

adios...

Been there, Done That

It was a lovely day last Monday where coincidentally the manager that i used to report to was on leave and the other colleague who sat behind me was on MC. The lady who sat diagonally from me went to the toilet. And there was my manager sitting next to me.

So how did i approach her?

ME: ohh is HL on leave?

Manager: Oh yes....

Me: oh is it...i have a bad news (opened the drawer and took out 2 envelopes) i want to resign.

Manager: ....... (took out the letter and read it)

ME: *smile* I'm moving to KL

Manager: oh..to Lenovo? (because Dell employees are famous of moving to their competitors)

ME: Nope. It's a consulting firm in KL

Manager: I see...

From the way i look at her facial expression i know my resignation was not a surprise to her. but it was a surprise to all the rest. I gave so much hints that i will be leaving Dell one day but it was not expected to be so fast. As fast as 2 weeks after my performance review. I was promoted to a Senior Pricing Analyst and received an increment of 18%. That was great news aye?

and my guess came true...my manager told me 2 days ago that she knew i will be resigning. she actually make that guess a few months ago. haha....well she is a very kind and good manager. I wish her all the best in Dell.

That's it!!
I have tendered my resignation as a pricing analyst in Dell Asia Pacific on the 31st of March.

Finally it's true. I'm no longer dreaming of leaving that place. It was not a difficult decision make.

I gave 2 month's notice and my last day in Dell Asia Pacific is on the 30th of May.

Plans moving forward?
I will be reporting to work on the 2nd June 2008 with Synovate Malaysia which is located in Menara IGB South court of Mid Valley Megamall.

I think it will be quite a rush for me to move on the 31st of May to KL because i only have 2 days to settle down but... no choice but this is it. I'm positive with the move.

The only issue now is looking for a place to stay.
