Sushi Zanmai @ The Gardens Mid Valley

a week after my first visit to the horrigible service Sushi Zanmai in 1-Utama, giving it a 2nd chance we hop into The Gardens branch in Mid Valley.

It's located on the 3rd floor, just next to The Borders bookstore.
It was a quick dinner after we watch the movie Dark Night. A tribute to Heath Ledger. He portrays the character Joker well indeed. It's a loss to the entertainment industry that he left us so early. I like the movie and Christian Bale is sooo GOOD LOOKING!!

Among those that we ordered were

Green Tea Soba

Soba with Kara-age

I love the cold soba with deep fried chicken chop. Yummy.....and one thing important to stress here. The service in The Gardens is way so much better than the one in 1-U. Well you know. It's in KL and not PJ. i guess my friend's claim is proven right? you judge it!

unrelated post:
i have been watching the news closely these days. on the daily free newspaper thesun, online via thestar and nst. i began to realise one thing. im quite sure a lot of you will be aware that recently there was a big hoo haa on anwar's political comeback and the sodomy case. history repeating? let the people judge it. then the Permatang Pauh by-election after Datin Wan Azizah resigned and make way for Anwar.

and what did everyone else forgot? try to think deeply guys....

there are so little coverage on our National Day celebrations this year. We are now in the Merdeka month. I can be very sure that last year it was so much merrier and so much more mentioned in the press.

today's paper? election, next PM, oil hike, inflation and etc you name it.
lucky i've seen some coverage of the merdeka already as we move closer to the 31st of August.

mentioning the above don't make me more patriotic, do get me right. this is just to make a press highlight in today's realistic world. so people time to fly your flags for Bolehland!!.

Krispy Kreme is coming to MALAYSIA!!!!! BCorp is bringing them to Malaysia early next year. Yay!!!!!! i get to have my hands on Devil's Food and the Cinnamon Apple Filled Doughnuts. I've already told so many people Krispy Kreme is so much better than Big Apple and Missy Donuts. You gotta try them when KK hit the streets next year.

have you watched the Olympics opening ceremony Beijing 2008? i have not. because i went to Kajang for Satay. My colleague told me it was really fantastic and greatly done. Looking at the amount of people in all their performances it's like telling the world China is making it's presence felt.
and it came to my surprise to know that some of the fireworks during the opening ceremony was fake. and the little kid who were singing wasn't singing. her lips were synching the song sang by another kid from the backstage. well this is acceptable to me but how to fake the fireworks wor?
and i read from the papers yesterday that some shots from the opening ceremony that we were watching isn't live and they were pre recorded due to the quality of air in Beijing. *puzzled* how is this possible wor?
