Bangkok - Day 6 to 8

We reached Bangkok on the 5th day of the trip.
This pic was taken in the hotel room overlooking the Chinatown. *my mom's room*

Chinatown in the morning.

The wet market in Chinatown

Thai Airway's HQ in Bangkok

dtac HQ in Bangkok. One of their telco provider in Thailand.

Zen - A shopping Centre. A whole strecth of road just like the Bukit Bintang Area in KL houses the World Trade Centre, The Paragon and the MBK Centre.

The four 4 faces Buddha is also located on this strecth and it's the busiest road.

It's accessible via City Link and the 4 faces Buddha is next to the famous boutique Burberry and opposite it is LV .

At the Chathuchak Weekend Market.

There are a lot of things on sale, all affordable ranges from food to clothing to furniture and plants and to pets.

Can you spot the look-a-like Lesportsac bag?

The telco provider is promoting the packages. Quite interesting

What do you think this is?

Deng Deng.....It's Thai Style Air Cream. I dont know how they did it...but they took out the stick and dip it into the flavours and here it is ta da..

Rabbits

Doggies..

and tortoise too...

We went to this place near the seaside called Bae Sat i think. They sell things ranges from dried cuttlefish to glutinous rice in bamboo.

a long stretch of a few 10 stalls selling similar local products.

the glutinous rice in bamboo

this is it...and it's absolutely yummy. 1 for RM1. Very very cheap.

there are a lot of those markets in Thailand. One of it was the Chathuchak that i mentioned which is only on during the weekends. The Suan Lum Night Bazaar as the name suggest is on every night. The things are not as affordable as those in Chatuchak and there are nothing much to see. Chatuchak is definitely the best place for everything.

Well if you catch a train from Penang to Bangkok, this is where the train will stop at. The Main Railway Station Bangkok.

At the Menam Chao Phraya.

Buddhist Temple along the Menam Chao Phraya.

and 4 to 5 stars hotel along the Menam Chao Phraya
