A Historic Day Out

At the Pinang Peranakan Mansion Church Street.
Once known as the "Hai Kee Chan" which was the official residence of the Chinese Kapitan Chung Keng Kwee. He was the leader of Hai San who signed the Pangkor Treaty. sounds familar? Remember Sejarah during high school we had this Perjanjian Pangkor 1874. Go dig up your history books.

It was a rewarding discovery and of course the Cheong Fatt Tze mansion was the best discovery. No pics allowed in the Cheong Fatt Sze mansion so i really recommend you guys to go there if you happened to be in Penang. It's located on Leith Street, near the St Xavier's institution on Farquhar Street.
