the congestion on the island kills nowadays. Those travelling from the Province Wellesley take up to at least 1 1/2 hours to reach the Island if there was a massive jam.
The solution to it has finally come => Penang's second bridge and monorail projects given cabinet approval

How much time needed to the completion of this 9th MP?
The current 13.5 km long Penang Bridge that stretches from P.W costs RM800mn (at the time of building) and took 5 yrs to a completion in 1985.
The Second Penang Bridge NOW stretches 24KM long from Batu Kwan to Batu Maung is estimated to cost RM 1.1bn)
A little bit more to finish is that it has a monorail system on the bridge. sounds interesting huh?
Oh well...then the 2nd Penang Bridge will replace the current Penang Bridge as the Longest in Asia ranked 5th in the world.
But how long will it take to complete? 5 yrs or less than tht? I really wish so.
But i have a concern here...( i shall come back later on the concern as currently i have some work to do)

wah..chi sin..24km long...petrol prices increase...somemore need to drive for so long...take ferry better ..save petrol
hahahaah yeah and please rmb u have to go up to Batu Kawan to take the 2nd link. worst still! I will stick with the 1985 Penang Bridge :D
